The forming process of titanium plate is similar to that of other materials. Especially in hot forming, the coating can not only alleviate the serious friction between parts and molds under high temperature, but also protect the surface of parts and avoid and reduce oxidation.


To sum up, the purpose of coating for titanium sheet stamping is:

The coating shall generally have the following properties:

3. It has sufficient strength, and the coating is not easy to be damaged during use;


4. Good lubrication performance;


5. Easy to remove;


6. It is harmless to the health of operators;


7. Low cost.


Therefore, the coatings for forming used by titanium alloy sheet manufacturers can be divided into two categories according to different conditions of use, namely, coatings for forming at room temperature (cold forming) and coatings for forming at high temperature.
